lifeline
this branch has been hanging on one of the wires outside our house for over a month, probably close to 2. it moves around the wire from against our house to right in front of my window. it's withstood each and every "hurricane" we've had this summer. it's my lifeline.

thanks! they didn't, but i would think they would have...i think we told them about it. anyway, i thought it was good nonetheless..and i guess if someone's really interested, they'll figure it out.
i thought it went pretty well considering i was caught totally off guard!
I once did a surprise interview for CBC radio. Apparently they cut out all my "ummms" and "aahhs" since they didn't end up using a single moment of the interview in the piece..
just an update: the branch is still there today!
same with our halloween decoration from over a year ago. two summers ago. its wont blow away. its wonderful.

i love that kind of stuff, nicole...it really makes me so happy! i wake up in the morning and first thing i do is look out the window. maybe melissa's right though.
